Class 2 – Measuring, Layouts, Cutting & Hanging
In this hands-on class, you'll learn how to confidently install drywall on a 2x4 stud training wall. Using tools and materials provided, you’ll install pre-cut drywall pieces onto the framing and apply first application of tape, corner-bead, and drywall mud—skills you can use on real jobs or your own home projects. If you’re ready to go beyond theory and start doing the work, this is the class where things start to get real.

Trade Up USA presents a 5-class Drywall Workshop Series for beginners looking to learn hands-on drywall skills in a supportive environment. Each two-hour class covers essential topics like safety, tools, installation, finishing techniques, and real-world business practices—all led by experienced trade professionals. Classes are $40 each and open to adults 18+ with no prior experience required. Attend one or all five sessions to gain practical skills. Space is limited to 8 participants per class.
