Class 4 – Second & Third Coats, Sanding & Repairs
You’ll learn how to apply second and third coats of joint compound, techniques for speeding the process, building up the surface, feathering edges seamlessly, and blending joints to near-invisibility. Time permitting, you will knock a hole in your wall and patch it.

Trade Up USA presents a 5-class Drywall Workshop Series for beginners looking to learn hands-on drywall skills in a supportive environment. Each two-hour class covers essential topics like safety, tools, installation, finishing techniques, and real-world business practices—all led by experienced trade professionals. Classes are $40 each and open to adults 18+ with no prior experience required. Attend one or all five sessions to gain practical skills. Space is limited to 8 participants per class.
